Coffee Price Increases (again, yes again)

March 2011 Update. "Green" coffee bean prices have increased by 100% since March of 2010 and are now at a 13 year high. Poor weather in Colombia and Brazil for the last few seasons has meant that the cost of buying beans to roast is up, not only for the South American coffees but all coffees..

At North Coast Coffee we have seen 5 major price increase from our bean supplier in the past 12 months and have had no choice but to raise our prices as well. We understand that these are difficult times for many of our customers. It is a difficult time for us as well. We will continue to offer the highest quality of coffees from around the world and do our best to hold the price increases to a minimun.

Cup for cup we still think roasted to order coffee for your home is a great value. Even at $14 a pound, it cost about $2 for a 10-cup coffee maker pot of coffee. That's about $.20 a cup!

Thank you for you business and your continued support. We appreciate our customers.
