We camped in Maine, at Acadia National Park,
for two weeks last summer. This
was a particularly foggy day—I love fog, (as long as I don’t
have to be out driving.)
Our ‘home’ family
is from right to left: Luke, Michael, Debby, Zachary, and
John (in the back). All
these guys play soccer and they all sing in choir!
Our two oldest sons live together (!!) in a city not too far
away. They
were able to join us in Maine for a week.
Cool, huh?
One of the best parts of camping is early morning
coffee—preferably by a campfire, but campfire or not, gotta have
that coffee! We used a
drip camping pot and the flavor was great.
So great, that several other campers would come over with
their empty mugs to get their morning elixir!
The aroma amidst the pine scent and the ocean air is
memorable. ( I must add
that coffee is definitely one of the most civilized aspects of
camping.)
